# Overview

The [USING THE DATA FABRIC](/data-fabric-manual/using-the-data-fabric/overview.md) section gives information on how to use the Data Fabric platform and its available features and components purely from a UI perspective. This section is designed for on-boarding users who wish to use the Data Fabric and its key features, without going into technical, developmental documentation. It is divided into three sections, namely:

* [Monitoring Floods](/data-fabric-manual/using-the-data-fabric/monitoring-floods.md)
* [Responding to Risk Areas](/data-fabric-manual/using-the-data-fabric/responding-to-risk-areas.md)
* [Regional Adaptation Planning](/data-fabric-manual/using-the-data-fabric/regional-adaptation-planning.md)

Each of these sections contain components in the Data Fabric that could be applicable and/or useful for these use-case scenarios. However, it should be noted that these components are not limited to these use-cases; rather, they serve as an exemplary way the platform could be used in order to fulfill these kinds of needs or purposes.
