# Deployment with Kubernetes

The Data Fabric can be deployed in a [Kubernetes](https://kubernetes.io/) cluster. A setup to be used with [Kustomize](https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/manage-kubernetes-objects/kustomization/) is available via [GitHub](https://github.com/directedproject-eu/data-fabric/tree/main/kubernetes_deployment). Detailed instructions on how to use the provided kustomization and manifest files are provided via README files in the respective folders.

In principle it is possible to set up your own Kubernetes cluster from scratch. However, it might be easier to use Kubernetes services from cloud providers.
